What is Outdoor DX

Every activation,
one place

Outdoor DX is a unified aggregator for amateur radio field activations. Whether someone is operating from a national park, a mountaintop, an island, or a nature reserve, Outdoor DX surfaces it in real time — making it effortless to find who's in the field and work them.

The amateur radio community runs dozens of programs for operating in the field. Each has its own spotting clusters and communities scattered across the web. Outdoor DX ties them all together so operators and hunters alike have a single, reliable stream to follow.

About the author

EA1HET

Outdoor DX was conceived and built by EA1HET, a licensed amateur radio operator with a passion for field operating and the communities that have grown around it.

The idea was born from a simple frustration: there was no single place to see, at a glance, all the operators currently active in the field across different programs. POTA spots, SOTA alerts, IOTA activity, WWFF references — each lived in its own corner of the internet, requiring hunters to juggle multiple tabs and clusters.

Outdoor DX changes that. One stream, all programs, all the time. The goal is straightforward: make it easy for operators and hunters to find each other, wherever they happen to be on the map.
